While I typically refrain from publishing negative reviews, I feel compelled to address the severe lack of professionalism and communication exhibited by LECA Training. Intrigued by their positive feedback on Google, I enrolled my dog in their 5-day trial and subsequently signed up for the Bachelor's program, which consisted of three 4-hour sessions per week for a month (totaling 52 hours), costing approximately $670. I was assured of a structured curriculum and regular progress updates for my dog prior to enrollment, but these promises went unfulfilled. I regrettably have wasted my money but more importantly my time. The updates I did receive consistently were emails stating that my invoice was unpaid, ironic right. Despite my efforts to address the issue with Max, the owner, I received no satisfactory explanation or resolution. I was just met with generic apologies - “I’m sorry you feel that way”, “I understand that you are disappointed”. When I informed Max of my decision to not renew my membership three days before my dog’s last session, he didn’t inquire about my reasoning, confirming his awareness of my dissatisfaction. For all I know my dog could’ve been sitting in a cage for 4 hours until pick up for the day school sessions. The absence of any meaningful lesson plans until the final session left me deeply disappointed, especially upon discovering my dog's lack of progress on basic concepts. Despite my consistent efforts, including private training sessions and leash training classes, my dog's development remained stagnant, leading me to believe that the day school’s purpose was keeping dogs enrolled to generate consistent recurring subscription revenue over genuine teaching in reactivity and obedience. In the private sessions I took while working with Ryan, one of the LECA trainers, I saw how quick my dog would pick up the concepts which left me confused when I saw the little progress made in day school during the month according to the learning plan I was provided at my dogs last session. Disclaimer, this review is in no way a reflection of Ryan as a trainer but moreover of the facility and the business. Consequently, I have decided not to continue with LECA Training and caution others to carefully consider their options before investing any amount of money in this establishment. They have lost a client and many other potential clients that I was going to refer to this establishment.

So grateful a friend referred me to LECA. Our 8 month old puppy has gone from a ball of undirected energy to a more well-mannered and disciplined dog. Love the extra classes like leash training and agility that are included in the membership. Thank you Max, Ryan, Rodney and the entire staff!! Liam loves going to LECA! ❤️

The team takes excellent care to train and care for your family pet. Agility, commands, grooming, all align to keep your dog happy. Highly recommend!

I brought my dog here to work on some socialization issues. He went 3 days a week and always came home tired and happy. I now have an 8 week old puppy and brought him to puppy socialization. It's definitely worth it because Max and his team know dogs! Asher came home and slept 5 hours! I am looking forward to Asher also attending more classes and school as he becomes older. LECA staff are professional and wonderful to work with. If you're wondering if you should make an investment-do it. You won't be disappointed and you will have a happier dog.

For anyone who wants to train their dog WITHOUT hurting them, this facility is NOT positive reinforcement only despite what their website says. I attended a group class and the trainers here believe that prong collars and e-collars have a place in modern day dog training. No trainers here are certified by CCPDT, which means they are not using humane, science-based dog training practices. Using punishment to train dogs is cruel, even more so because it's less effective than modern methods. I would recommend avoiding this place and finding a positive reinforcement (R+) trainer instead, for the sake of your dog...
